Kingston officially announced 1TB USB Flash Drive named DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0. This flash drive is announced in CES (The International Consumer Electronics Show) 2013 which is held in Las Vegas. This is the first and the largest capacity USB 3.0 flash drive.
The Company said that this is the Fastest USB 3.0 Flash Drive among all other flash drives which are available in the Kingston’s family. The speed of this flash drive is it can read the data upto 240 MB/Sec and write the data upto 160 MB/Sec.
This DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 is optimised for the next generation USB 3.0 i.e. New PC’s and for USB 3.0 ports. This Drive is specially aimed towards the users who work with larger graphic files, larger videos and the users who like to travel their complete data.
The drive’s case is made up of zinc alloy metal for a shock resistance. This Data Traveler 3.0 ships with Kingston key ring and a HyperX valet keychain. This Data Traveler is also compatible with USB 2.0 with good data transfer rates.
These are the words said by the company about their New 1TB Flash Drive 3.0 “The New DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 allows users to store their entire digital world on a USB 3.0 Flash Drive. The larger capacity and fastest USB 3.0 allows users to edit, transfer applications or files such as High Definition Movies directly from the drive without any performance lag which saves time.”
Kingston also announced Data Traveler Ultimate USB 3.0 G3 flash drives in 32 GB and 64 GB capacities with writing speed of 70 MB/s and reading speed of 150 MB/s. This drives are also compatible with USB 2.0.
This DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 USB Flash drive comes with a five-year warranty and free technical support. The 512GB version is available now and it comes with a price tag of $1750 (i.e. Approx Rs.96000).
So we can clearly expect the price of Data Traveler HyperX Predator 3.0 which is double the price of 512GB version. So let’s wait for the official price to be announced by the Company. This device is available in the first quarter of 2013 (i.e. by the end of March 2013).
